Philadelphia vs New England
The key to this game is an accurate assessment of Philadelphia's ability, which goes further than brushing over it by saying they played in a weaker conference this year.
We all know what to expect from New England, high caliber football played at championship levels and they don't choke. So the questions are how good are the Eagles, and will they choke.
The Eagles will get to Brady with the pass rush. I'm not sure if you can say the same thing about Pats getting to Macnabb because if you can get close, Macnabb runs 15 yards down field. The Eagles are a talented bunch, and it is the best Eagles team of the past few years.
Will the Eagles choke? They are 7 point underdogs so no one really expects them to do anything expect get pounded, low expectations creates low pressure. A veteran team probably won't freeze in the spotlights like a younger team in the big game. And Terril Owens will hog up all the spotlight for the next two weeks taking the attention off his teammates, allowing them to remain focus. Owens gives them that swagger, and with Macnabb, they have that on field leadership that prevents the choke. Owens will play. If Moss can play on one leg and catch 2 TD passes and moon the crowd all at the same time, definitely Owens wants to top that.
Take Philadelphia +7
